The gasket and the head. The gasket came off in one piece. Note in the middle bottom, you can see the pattern that was on the gasket, a very thin layer that I was able to remove, for the most part, from the head. Maybe the "big brown circles" in the middle are just deterioration of the gasket material from the coolant over the years.
