I'd soaked the head bolts in Marvel Mystery Oil for a couple weeks. Anyway, they came right out without a struggle.
I then puzzled over how to remove the head, it seemed stuck on pretty good. However, a couple knocks with the butt end of a sledge hammer and it popped right off.
